Kennedy Center Tipsheets on Cultural Access
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Tipsheets reflect the best practices in the cultural arts community for making theaters, museums and other cultural facilities and programs accessible to patrons and visitors with disabilities.
Each Tipsheet covers an area of topical interest to accessibility managers, ADA/504 coordinators, arts administrators and other cultural professionals working in a cultural venue who want to provide access to all members of their communities as well as to address issues of good customer service and the need to comply with federal disability rights laws.
TipSheets are produced collaboratively with members of the Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability (LEAD) network. TipSheets are intended solely as guidance and are not a determination of an organizationís legal rights and responsibilities.
