This is testimony before the Senate Committee on Aging, in Washington, DC on September 18, 1998, at the Hart Senate Office Building. The testimony was given by Professor David Braddock of the Clearinghouse on Aging and Developmental Disabilities, Institute on Disability and Human Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

The testimony concerned the demographics of the aging of family caregivers and the aging of people with developmental disabilities. Many looming policy issues were presented that have since become exacerbated as the baby boom generation continues to age.
