Robert Dinerstein

Description:

I am a law professor at American University, Washington College of Law, where I have taught since 1983. Among other things, I teach in the area of disability law, covering statutes and regulations under Section 504, the ADA, and IDEA, and criminal justice issues, as well as constitutional protections for people with disabilities. In recent years, I have focused in particular on issues of consent and capacity and especially on alternatives to plenary guardianship for people with disabilities. I could provide training in advocacy, legal rights of people with disabilities, and related areas. My extensive background in disability issues is available on my law school website.
