 Full Description:
The Tools for Life Program is a product of the AMAC Accessibility Solutions and Research Center at Georgia Tech. According to a pamphlet for the program, "Tools for Life increases access to and acquisition of assistive technology devices and assistive technology services for Georgians of all ages and disabilities so they can live, learn, work, and play independently in the communities of their choice" (info taken from Tools of Life pamphlet 2016).

Tools for Life carries out this mission in two main ways, increasing access to assistive technology through equipment lending libraries and increasing acquisition of assistive technology through their funding guides for families and individuals, the "gTrade" online equipment exchange, their low-interest loan program Credit Able for the purchase of assistive technology, and their AT Reuse program which ensures needed equipment is available for underserved populations who may otherwise be unable to afford expensive products.

The Tools for Life Program is an excellent resource for families, individuals, and others residing in Georgia interested in acquiring assistive technology in some capacity.
