 Full Description:
This online video and companion booklet will help everyone recognize that individuals with disabilities can and do work in their communities as successful members of society. Both feature Miguel, a vocational counselor who happens to have a disability, and Nick and Alison who are successfully employed self-advocates. With visions for their futures, each one is a decision-maker building social networks to find meaningful employment alongside fellow community members. At the end of the booklet is a list of resources on Employment Services.

The video and companion booklet were created by the Board Resource Center, an organization that assists organizations, groups and individuals to transform their approach to leadership by integrating effective policies and practical person-centered services based on the ideal of inclusion.

The video and companion booklet are available for free online and can be accessed under the "Web Links" tab above.
