 Full Description:
This training package includes a DVD with two programs, as well as an sixty-nine page manual. It walks participants through the the steps creating an effective evacuation plan that considers the needs of people with disabilities. Here is an excerpt from the producer's that explain why this information is important:

"To the old threats of fire and natural disasters, there is a new threat terrorism.

For the owners, managers, and tenants of facilities where the disabled live, work, shop, travel, and find recreation, there are threats of another kind - lawsuits and liabilities that could be ruinous.

Do you have a plan for evacuating people from your facility? Of course you do. Does it effectively address the safe evacuation of people with disabilities? It better. The ADA requires that your plan ensures that people with disabilities are safely evacuated from facilities."
