 Full Description: 
Assistive Technology in New Hampshire (ATinNH) is part of the University of New Hampshire's Institute on Disability (IOD). ATinNH seeks to increase the awareness of and the ability to try assistive technology devices to help people in making a decision whether a particular technology is “the right fit.” The IOD is actively involved in partnerships on campus, throughout the state, and on a national level to promote access to assistive technology services.

Highlights from the ATinNH website:

-Demonstrations, Loans and Reuse:
The ATinNH website includes information on organizations in New Hampshire that offer assistive technology demonstrations, loans, and ways assistive technology devices can be purchased for cheap.

-Training and Education:
A variety of assistive technology training and education programs are offered including an annual Assistive Technology Workshop Series and a Graduate Certificate in Assistive Technology. In addition they conduct approximately 50 assistive technology workshops each year throughout New Hampshire for professionals, organizations, agencies, and schools. Workshop topics include:
* assistive technology for students with disabilities
* making assistive technology solutions in minutes
* assistive technology for the elderly
* iPad apps for people with disabilities
* assistive technology and job accommodations

-ATinNH YouTube Channel:
This YouTube channel has many short how-to videos on a multitude of subjects such as learning how to create an iPad stand or easy tips for simple wheelchair maintenance. Many of this videos show people how they can make their own assistive technology devices using every day or easy to find materials.
