Health Care Provider Training

Why This Is Important

The issue of health is fundamental to people's well-being and quality of life. When one gets sick, nothing else in life goes right! The dramatic increase in the quality of health care in the last twenty years has greatly expanded the well-being, functioning, longevity, and even the basic survival of people with disabilities. The right health care, both in early years and later, can greatly impact future cognitive and life functioning. If people with disabilities are to get the best and most high-quality health care, providers of that care must receive the best training possible. In this department you will find training materials, curriculum, and information about issues in health care provider training.
